Café con leche. One of my all time favorites. When visiting my dad’s house I’d wake up and head over to my aunt’s house and have breakfast with the entire family on weekends. If you’re Hispanic you know this means, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and then those you didn’t even know. I remember being as young as 5 and drinking this. It’s not uncommon for kids to be drinking this at that age…and they wonder why we were a bit nuts.
I don’t drink it too often, but when I do I make it with skim milk, soy milk, or almond milk. I lessen the amount of sugar usually, but as you’ll see in the video, I treat myself using condensed milk. Again, I do watch what I eat, but the keyword is moderation. Hope you like it.

Any kind of milk you want
Instant Coffee
Heat the milk in a saucepan and add instant coffee. Again, add as little or as much as you want depending on how strong you want it. Pour over condensed milk (or not) and enjoy!
Note/Tips
- Keep it healthy by using soy or almond milk and lessen the amount of sugar you use.
