Caprese Inspired Dessert

This is a continuation from both the June 8th and June 22nd posts. I take the same ingredients that I use in both the caprese salad and chicken dish and made a mighty tasty dessert. Yep, if you haven't taken a look at them yet, I use basil and balsamic reduction for a wicked sweet dessert. I'm used to the bewildered looks when I introduce it to people, but one taste and they love it...100% of the time!

Ice Cream topped w/ Strawberries, Basil, Balsamic Reduction
Vanilla Ice Cream
Sliced Fresh
Strawberries
Basil
Balsamic Reduction

Take whatever ice cream it is you prefer and scoop out 2 or 3 scoops. I'm more of a soy ice cream/frozen yogurt kind of guy, so that's what I use.

Top it with fresh strawberries. Use the balsamic vinegar reduction (see video from June 8th for directions). This is an awesome and healthy alternative to chocolate syrup.
