- I have been cooking for most of my life and something that started out as a hobby has turned into a true passion. It all started when at a young age I noticed my family's love of food and from that point my "love affair" with food began. I started watching the TV Food Network in 1995 (it had just started out in 93' and let's just say the shows were very basic) and that is where I learned many of my cooking skills. I would watch shows and test out recipes; but, eventually as I became more comfortable, I would put my own spin on things. Here I am 2010, 15 years later and I am still at it. I cook nearly everyday and eat out nearly as much. I've been in NYC for over 7 years now. I'm 26 years old. I've also helped launch Butterworthy cakes. It is still in the planning stages.
